Orangery with Traditional External and Contemporary Internal Locks Heath, Hampshire

Our approved installers, Rococo, were approached to help with the design, delivery and facilitation for installing an orangery at a property in Locks Heath. The client was interested in having a large and spacious, luxurious to create a main living space for entertainment and relaxation.

Rococo provided our customers with a complete solution, and with this orangery we took through the 360-degree review process to ensure it was as seamless as it could be with the existing building and was all the property owner was hoping for. We provided the customer with various options for the design. In order to achieve the traditional aesthetics, the customer wanted for the orangery, we used Evolution Storm windows and French doors, this time with unobstructed glass and black standard handles. The Evolution products are timber-effect solutions that provide the necessary look and feel, with a much easier to manage and longer lasting structure.

Opting for French doors from Evolution too meant that there was a connection between the windows and doors. As agreed, upon by the customer, we also included a projecting section at the frontal face of the building. This breaks the face up and adds greater interest.

Thanks to the engineering we carried out on the structure of the roof, it had the stability and strength to facilitate the installation of a stylish and very large lantern roof, provided by a third party. By using unobstructed glazing, we ensured that there were gorgeous views of the greenery on the outside.

The resulting orangery was a testament to our focus on design and all that hard work we put in at the beginning of the process. As well as designing and creating a magnificent looking structure, we also produced one that met the needs of our client.
