Energy Efficiency

Windows, redefined.

Energy Efficient Windows & Glazing

Did you know that over a third of heat can be lost from your home thorough inefficient windows? All Evolution windows carry an A Rating as standard. An A rating is the highest energy rated for Energy Efficient Windows and ensure your home is more energy efficient. Evolution’s window ranges have always been one of the most energy efficient choices available in the modern window marketplace. Both A+ rated as standard, the Storm 2 and Flush window ranges take energy efficiency to the highest level with double glazing to 28mm thickness.

We use the most efficient products available as standard, which will keep your heating bills low and help conserve the heat produced in your home. Our windows have one of the highest energy ratings and U values in the industry, so your new windows will not only be an attractive addition to your home, but a wise investment.

The Storm 2 window range has a 1.3U value and is rated WER A+13 as standard and the Flush range also has a 1.3U value and a rating of WER A+11 as standard so you can be sure that choosing any windows from the Evolution range will keep your home lovely and warm in winter, cool in the summer and keep your bills to a minimum, knowing you are not wasting or losing energy.

Triple Glazing

To further enhance your homes' energy saving credentials, both our Stormproof and Flush window ranges have the option of upgrading to our ultimate energy efficient rated triple glazing solution, whilst still maintaining the beautiful aesthetics which have become synonymous with the Evolution collection.

Triple glazing of your Evolution windows would raise the energy rating on Storm 2 window to A+14 and on Flush windows to A+12 both values represent a valuable energy saving. However, an even more important number to look at for energy efficiency is the U value.

A standard double glazed Storm 2 window has a U value of 1.3 but a triple glazed Storm 2 window has a U value of 1.1. What does this actually mean? Well this means that your window is 15% more efficient when triple glazed than double glazed in terms of heat loss.

Energy Ratings

We are always striving to reduce energy wastage by using the most efficient products that we can; which will keep our energy bills low and help conserve the heat we produce in our homes. Our windows are assessed by an independent body and rated as an A-rated as standard making the Storm window one of the most thermally efficient windows currently available.

It has been shown that energy efficient windows will help to minimise heating costs when installed by skilled qualified professionals. Using Evolution will ensure that your windows will be a valuable asset to your home for many years to come.
